Multi-color Organizers

These are the same trays described in the original project, printed in navy. These were remade for another customer with the same sets, but with a new feature. In recent months, I have been able to upgrade some of my printers to have multi-material abilities. This allows me to make prints with multiple colors, removing the need to paint labels to help them stand out more. Here, the trays are printed in a teal PLA, with black lettering for easy and durable visibility.

While it uses more material, to ensure clean transitions between colors, I’m proud to be able to add more notable details like this colored backing for labels to custom orders.

In addition to the three trays for metric hex sockets, standard hex sockets, and torx bits, this customer wanted a matching smaller organizer for a set of E-torx bits (shown at bottom left). Similar to the large running job I showed in silk purple, these are all made with a favorite for this client: silk teal!
